What or who sparked your interest in studying geospatial technologies?
My advisor John Callewaert, Director of the Institute
for Community and Environment, as well as one of my environmental studies
Professors, Laura Alexander.
What is your dream job?
To work for a state or federal agency in the environmental field.
How do you see geospatial technologies helping you in your career goals?
Since I am currently employed by the New
Hampshire Department of Transportation’s Bureau of Environment, I have
been able to use geospatial technology to assist in environmental document preparation.

What were the most important things you considered when deciding on which
school to go to?
Location (rural setting), small school.
What do you like most about being a student?
Finding and preparing for a career path which excites me, not just what is required.
Peer interaction and slowly developing into a functional member of society.
What do you do to relax?
Hiking, alpine skiing.
What advice would you give a high school student trying to make education
and career choices?
Go where you feel you will be most comfortable, not where you feel you are expected
